We’ve all heard of cashew cream, but what happens when you’re allergic to cashews? You make a walnut cream or a pecan cream or a macadamia cream, of course.
How? You ask. See below:
1 cup soaked raw walnuts, pecans, or macadamia nuts
1/4 to 1/3 cup coconut milk
1-2 Tbs. honey
1-2Tbs. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1-3 Tbs. water – if needed.
pinch of sea salt
Put all ingredients into a blender and blend on medium-high speed until thick and creamy. If too thick add water 1 Tbs. at a time until desired consistency is achieved.
Now what do you do with it. . .
– Use it to replace whipped cream or yogurt.
– Make a fruit parfait
– Smear it on an apple, pear, or banana
– Use your imagination, it’s so darn good you’ll figure out something.
